His and Hers Peacock Lunches

I cut a few slices of kohlrabi with my peacock veggie cutter one night, and kept them handy to add a quick touch of fun to lunches for my husband and me.

Mama's Lunch
Organic mini sweet peppers, GF pretzel chips, Naturebox cinnamon almonds w/coconut chips, organic
salad (red lettuce, red cabbage, mixed greens, kohlrabi, tomatoes, sunflower and chia seeds, hemp hearts, dressing)
Wednesday, 10/9/13 - My usual salad, same as most every lunch. Doesn't that peacock make it look so nice?
I'm a big fan of the Naturebox Cinnamon Spice Almonds, and mix them with toasted coconut chips to bulk up my sweet treat without adding a ton of sugar.

Lunch for Dadda
Leftover rice dish (Cranberry Wild Rice w/extra brown rice, tofu, and veggies,) kohlrabi and yellow carrot,
Naturebox Cinnamon Spice Almonds with mixed dried berries and raisins, organic pluot
Tuesday, 10/8/13 - For him I made two peacocks, with a mini yellow carrot heart. D'awww!

Hubby is also a huge fan of the cinnamon almonds, and enjoyed them mixed with dried fruit. Nom!

The leftovers are from a package of Cook Simple Cranberry Wild Rice cooked with additional brown rice, carrots, crumbled tofu, and other veggies to bulk it up.
